Teleradiology for Vets
Our story
VEDIM is historically the first European Veterinary Teleradiology company, created by Pr Paul BARTHEZ in 2007.
It is currently managed by 2 veterinary radiologists, Drs Paul Barthez and Franck Durieux.
VEDIM is currently one of the few 'pure player' European veterinary Teleradiology company. It is made of a team of imaging specialists, all diplomates of the European (ECVDI) and/or American (ACVR) Colleges.
VEDIM offers off site imaging interpretation in the fields of radiology CT, MRI, and nuclear medicine to veterinary practitioners or specialists by providing documented and detailed written reports of imaging studies in different species.
Because our Teleradiology activity has no borders, we rely on a multilingual platform dedicated to veterinary telemedicine called VETFLOW. Reports provided by VEDIM are currently generated in several languages including French and English.
VEDIM specialists also participate regularly in continuing education of veterinary practitioners in the field of medical imaging.
The Team
VEDIM veterinarians are all diagnostic imaging specialists. Each one of them brings their expertise and experience to VEDIM partners. All of them are involved in continuing education programs in different association, societies or colleges.

Our strength is teleradiology for veterinary practitioners made easy.
We are one of the few pure players in the fields of veterinary teleradiology in Europe.
This means that our teleradiologists are always available to answer requests of our referring veterinarians in a few hours.
A team of specialists is on your side to help you with the interpretation of radiographic, CT, or MRI studies regardless of the species.
We rely on the use of a teleradiology platform to manage your requests with a dedicated, secured, and easy to use web site.
Teleradiology was made possible by the digital imaging revolution, facilitating image transmission through Internet. No more postage or delay, you can now get interpretation of your diagnostic imaging studies by a specialist in just a few hours.
A large majority of veterinary clinics have digital radiography and an increasing number of hospital have CT and/or MRI.
Access to such technologies will help to improve the chain of care to an increasingly demanding public.
How does it work ?
Registration will be done after contacting us with on contact form.
Once your personal space has been created, you will be able to access our website and complete a request for image interpretation. Images in Dicom format (CR, DR, CT, MR ...) will be sent directly from your workstation to our DICOM server or will be joined with your request by a simple "drag and drop".
Your request for image interpretation will be handled by the first available radiologist who will generate a written report associated with annotated key images.
You and/or your colleagues will received an e-mail containing the report as an attached pdf file that you may give to your clients. All your previous reports remain available online in your personal space.
